To tide you over until I can think of something blog-worthy, here are some photos of me trying on my wedding dress after they took it in (where else - in the chest area). I think the lady who measured me was dislexic - I think she reversed my actual measurments. My dress was pretty tight!
I was too cheap to pay $95 for them to hem the bottom, since I would only be wearing it for 3 hours, so I had lots of extra fabric down there (I should've moved some of it up top). I had my very own kangaroo pouch.
Ahhhh - dress unzipped. I can breath again!
My tropical wedding bouquet. I've never been so attached to flowers before. I looked up "preserving wedding flowers" on diy.com, but they aren't drying very well. The roses still look ok, but the bigger flowers are wilted and brown and smell bad. I guess I'll have to throw them away.

Since getting married on the water in the Bahamas by a ship captain isn't 100% legal, we actually went thru a ceremony on US soil on 1/14/07 at 3:30pm. Here is proof!
I was hoping we got to keep the cute table topper (Mickey & Minnie bobble heads), but alas, they were only decorations.

After the official photographer was done, we had a lot of time to kill before our 8pm dinner reservation at Palo. Lucky for us it was 'formal' night on the cruise. Mickey & Minnie were in their best outfits in the ship's lobby. We got in the very long line and waited. 10 minutes later, the head of photography comes up to us and says, "come to the front of the line!" I wasn't going to deny him!
They also let us include these "non-official" photographs in with our wedding package, which was awesome! The whole ship's photograph team was so great!
These 2 photos are some of my favorites. Dopey was my maid of honor! (ha ha ha) 
This is Jonathan's favorite picture. We are in the hallway between the 2 gift shops. One of the photo employees was amazed that the hallway was totally clear of people!

Both the reception and the ceremony were in the Hyatt hotel (right across the street from Downtown Disney). They was nice and convenient. It's always kind-of a pain to drive from a church to a reception hall.
Jonathan and I are getting married on 1/15/07!
edit: Actually, there isn't much more to tell. It's just a wedding/honeymoon combo. It will just be the 2 of us. I've got 2 months to go find a dress. I don't think I'll get a "wedding" dress from a bridal store. I'd like to find something very simple and white. We'll see what I can dig up. Jonathan would like to have some kind of reception/party/something later on (in the summer???).
Last weekend Jonathan and I went to Typhoon Lagoon. I had forgotten how much I love water parks! Except for the part where your sunscreen gets in your eyes - I don't like that much.
In keeping with the theme of the month, 'weddings', here are some photos from last Sunday. My 2 friends, Hiromi and Mike (who I kind-of matched together) got married. It was a very small ceremoy (less than 30 people) in a Japanese restaurant. We had a private room where the ceremony took place as well as dinner. It was great fun!
(The bride and groom -- no rice throwing, just wave your ribbons around. It sounded strange at first, but it made for some sweet photos)
Thank you so much for all the kind words in my last 2 entries. I didn't want to turn into one of those mushy girly brides-to-be ... but the dark side is so appealing!
Why is it so impossible to take a picture of a ring? I got one good close up. As you might be able to tell, it's a small square, a big square and another small square.
